Description
The EQUIP-WH is a rugged, water-resistant dual-channel all-in-one headset that operates in the ISM license-free 5 GHz frequency range. The all-in-one headset has an ergonomic design with tactile touch keys, level controls, and end of the boom talk indication LED. Slim durable metal headband and mic boom which can be worn on left or right side.
Operation
The EQUIP-WH connects to EQUIP-BASE Base via the EQUIP-TCVR transceivers. EQUIP-WH users can roam seamlessly between distributed transceivers over wide areas. The EQUIP-WH uses one rechargeable lithium-ion battery (BAT70). With moderate use in a typical environment, the headset will operate for approximately 8-12 hours on a single battery charge. It will alert the user when the battery charge is low. The EQP-WH uses NFC to facilitate easy pairing of the All-in-One headset; the headset simply needs a quick touch to the base unit to enable the headset to pair with the system. Headset users access one audio channel at a time and they can listen and talk on channel 1 or 2, however they cannot listen to both channels simultaneously.
Durability
The EQUIP-WH is IP54 rated for wet weather or dusty conditions, making it ideal for outdoor environments.
