It supports socket-type 6th-Gen Core™ processors so one can choose a CPU according to application performance needs while Neousys' efficient heat-dissipating design offers true -25°C to 70°C wide temperature range operation
With plenty of embedded I/O functions for applications including Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.1 Gen1/ USB2.0, COM ports, VGA/DVI/DP triple display outputs and if that's not enough, Neousys' patented Cassette offers I/O expansion by installing an off-the-shelf PCIe/PCI card.
On top of all that, Nuvo-5000 further incorporates Neousys MezIO™ interface. The patented design enhances Neousys' fanless embedded system with a cost-effective and reliable way for I/O expansion. The MezIO™ module can deliver application-oriented functions for diversified vertical markets.

Benefited by 14nm lithography, the 6th-Gen Core™ platform delivers significant performance boost. Comparing to 3rd-Gen Ivy Bridge, the new Skylake platform offers 40% increase in terms of performance per watt. Additionally, Nuvo-5000 is the first fanless controller supporting both 35W and 65W CPU. You can configure CPU power via Neousys' unique BIOS feature to obtain a delicate balance between arithmetic-demanding and wide temperature range operation applications.
Patented Expansion Cassette
Neousys' Patented Cassette is an innovative and brilliant method to accommodate an add-on card. The modularized design offers easy installation/ replacement and the possibility of passive cooling for add-on card brings reliability and flexibility to the system. You can install COTS PCI/PCIe card for function expansion, or choose Neousys' offer of Cassette module with pre-installed heat-spreader to include PoE+, USB 3.1 Gen1 or independent graphics card.
The MezIO™ Interface and Modules
MezIO™ interface is designed for incorporating application-oriented I/O functions into an embedded system. With a reliable 3-point mezzanine structure, it offers computer signals, power rails and control signals via a high-speed connector.
Neousys offers a variety of Nuvo-5000 compatible MezIO™ modules with various I/Os such as RS-232/422/485, isolated DIO, LVDS output and ignition power control. Users can also leverage signals/ power supplied by the MezIO™ interface to customize one's own module. Neousys MezIO™ presents a cost-effective way to build a tailor made embedded system for your application.
